Tenuta Blancamar country bed and breakfast is located in the uncontaminated nature of the Piana di Cannai, between Mediterranean scrub and grazing flocks.
Here the ancient peoples of the Nuragic culture found fertile ground to build their first village. We are, in fact, in the heart of the archaeological area, a short distance from the Tomb of the Giants "Su niu 'e su Crobu", the Nuraghe "Femminedda" and the Grutti 'e acqua complex, ideal places for excursions or nature walks.
A few kilometers away are the beaches of Coaquaddus and Cala Sapone. A little further away are the splendid beach of Maladroxia, Portixeddu, the small beaches of Turri and Capo Sperone and the splendid natural swimming pool of the Arco dei baci Is Praneddas.
It is an excellent location for practicing sports of all kinds. Near the estate there are:
the "Carolina Ranch" which organizes excursions on horseback or by quad;
various nature trails where you can enjoy splendid views of the coast and the surrounding nature;
it is possible to practice windsurfing, kite and diving in the nearby beaches.
In collaboration with our partners we can organize excursions on a sailing boat, a rubber dinghy, or fishing tourism with lunch on board.
A few kilometers away there are two farmhouses and a restaurant open every day during the summer season.
Tenuta Blancamar is 10 km from the center of Sant'Antioco where there are many places of interest. You can visit the MAB "Ferruccio Barreca" and Tofet Archaeological Museum, the Ethnographic Museum and the Hypogeum Village, the necropolis, the catacombs of Sant'Antioco located under the homonymous basilica. Get to know the unique art of "Bysso" in the world and discover the history and life of fishermen at MUMA.
Sant'Antioco has a beautiful promenade full of restaurants, bars and a park with padel courts and skate rinks and more. Viale Umberto I, a tree-lined avenue in the center, dedicated to shopping and the typical shops of the town.
To the north of the island is the town of Calasetta, a typical seaside village with its white and blue houses, beautiful beaches, vineyards and the renowned "Mangiabarche" lighthouse. There you can immerse yourself in the Tabarkina culinary tradition or take the ferry to visit the nearby island of San Pietro and its beautiful Carloforte, a Genoese enclave unique in Italy, where you can taste the famous bluefin tuna, in all its parts and the typical coucous (called cascà).
